Old Rainworth Fort
A heritage-listed fortified stone building south of Springsure, dating to 1862, set on a working property with a small museum. Open daily 10:00 am – 3:00 pm (closed Thursdays).

About 17 km south of Springsure, named for a sandstone escarpment naturally formed in a staircase shape, alongside the historic Old Wagon Road cut into the sandstone by hand.
